 The story of the Delhi Public School Society began in 1949, with the establishment of its first school at Mathura Road, New Delhi. What began as a pioneering educational endeavour has grown into a vast and diverse educational network, comprising more than 200 schools in India and abroad, together with its core schools and affiliated institutions across Delhi and the National Capital Region. Shunglu, Chairman, DPSS, and Shri Ravi Vira Gupta, Vice Chairman, DPSS, the Society continues to advance its vision of providing holistic and quality education to learners from diverse sections of society. The Council of Educational Planning and Training (CEPT) promotes innovative educational practices and emerging pedagogical trends, supporting teachers and students in embracing new approaches to learning. The Council of Environment Education and Culture (CEEC) fosters environmental awareness among students and encourages them to value, conserve and preserve the natural world. The Society dedicated initiatives in Arts and Heritage, Media and Publications, Sports and Health further broaden the educational experience, ensuring that learning encompasses the intellectual, creative, physical, emotional and social dimensions of a child development.
